Tinius Olsen has developed scalable technology blocks to automate tensile, compression, flexural, impact, melt flow and hardness tests.
Capable of testing up to 1000+ specimens in a 24 hour period, saving time and making money.

Electromechanical Universal Testing Machines Tinius Olsen
Extensometer
Deformation measurement is one of the most fundamental measurement steps in the detection of material mechanical properties, and the extensometer is a basic device used to measure axial and radial deformations between the gauge lengths of specimens. Tinius Olsen’s products include both contact and non-contact extensometers, with extensometers of different resolution levels, measurement methods, and measurement ranges.

Climatic chamber & High temperature furnace
The environmental temperature chamber is used to simulate natural environmental climate and measure the mechanical properties of materials. High-temperature tests are conducted to detect the thermoplastic properties, high-temperature resistance, and recrystallization of materials.

Horizon Material Testing Software
The computer-aided data acquisition and equipment control system is compatible with most Tinius Olsen testing equipment. Horizon software supports data collection, analysis, curve plotting (if required), and data storage. If the testing machine permits, it can also control the testing operation.
Horizon offers a comprehensive selection of predefined test procedures, encompassing robust test data analysis, complete control, and thorough reporting. These procedures can be modified and further refined to cater to specific customer needs. The test data collected by these procedures can be exported to external systems and then transferred to other data analysis systems.
Horizon database can also be set up to be shared across multiple computers on the company network, allowing multiple systems to use the test program and test data. Using Horizon software platform can make your material testing work more convenient, whether it is for demanding R&D work or for meeting the icon drawing and analysis functions of QC testing.
